Young People’s Counselling

Supporting young people through life’s challenges

Young people today face many pressures and challenges, and sometimes it can feel difficult for them to talk openly with family or friends. Counselling provides a safe, supportive, and confidential space where young people can express how they are feeling and explore the difficulties they may be experiencing.

I work with young people aged 10+ and offer support in a calm, understanding, and non-judgemental environment tailored to their individual needs.

How Young People’s Counselling Can Help

Counselling can help young people better understand their thoughts, feelings, and emotions while developing healthier ways to cope with challenges. It may help them to:

  • Manage anxiety, stress, or low mood
  • Build confidence and self-esteem
  • Cope with bullying or school pressures
  • Process family changes such as separation or divorce
  • Express emotions such as anger, frustration, or sadness in healthier ways
  • Navigate social media and online pressures
  • Improve communication and emotional well-being

Every young person is different, and sessions are adapted to support them at their own pace.
