Clinical Supervision

Supervision is an essential part of safe and effective therapeutic practice. Just as the therapeutic relationship is important for clients, having a supportive and constructive relationship with a supervisor is equally important for therapists.

My aim as a supervisor is to support you in your professional development by offering guidance, reflection, and a safe space to explore your work. I work collaboratively with supervisees to help them grow in confidence, develop their skills, and maintain good ethical practice.

I qualified as a supervisor in 2017 and have since provided supervision for Relate National, as well as Relate Northern Ireland, Relate Dorset, and Relate Coventry, alongside my private practice. I have experience supporting both trainee counsellors on placement and experienced therapists working in private practice.

I currently provide individual and group supervision for therapists, including work with Relate Isle of Man, as well as supervising for York College, York Learning, and a number of counsellors in private practice.

Areas of Supervision

I offer supervision across several areas of counselling, including:

  • Psychosexual Therapy

  • Relationship / Couple Counselling

  • Individual Counselling

  • Young People’s Counselling (aged 10+)

My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic models including Systemic, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Solution-Focused, and Person-Centred approaches.

In addition, I offer supervision for therapists delivering counselling through online and remote platforms, including live chat, telephone, email, and webcam sessions. With over eight years of experience working in these formats, I understand the unique challenges and considerations involved in online therapeutic work.

I also facilitate group supervision. If you are part of an organisation or a group of therapists interested in regular group supervision sessions, I would be happy to discuss suitable arrangements.

Supervision Fees

Qualified Therapists

  • £60 – 1 hour

  • £90- 1 hour 30 mins

Students & Trainees

  • £50 – 1 hour

  • £75 – 1 hour 30 mins

Group supervision fees can be discussed depending on the size and needs of the group.
